What I Understand About Fables

A fable is a short simple story with a familiar setting like a lake, park or a beach. And for characters, they could be an animal. Parts of a fable is a setting a main part and most importantly an ending with a moral lesson. This is and example of a fable: "The turtle and the hare" the turtle wanted to race the hare through the forest. The hare was winning then took a very long nap thinking that with his speed he can easily win the race! the turtle was winning with his slow pace and when the turtle just crossed the finished line then the hare woke up and ran to the finished line, and at the line he saw the turtle waiting for him. The hare said " Well you were right slow and steady can win the race."  In that fable there was a setting a main part, animals for characters and an ending with a moral lesson.
